Raffle Donation - Kieron McDonald

Kieron McDonald was originally known around the traps as the frontman for Melbourne's Rockabilly outfit the "Flatfoot Shakers" from 1997 till 2008. He recorded his first solo album for Rhythm Bomb Records, while on tour in Europe in 2005 with local Berlin band the Round-Up Boys. The album is titled "Island Girl".

Early January 2009 he recorded his second solo album at Melbourne's famed Preston studio, accompanied by a selection of Australia's finest Rockabilly musicians. The album is titled "Beware Of The Swamp Man" and is available on Press Tone Records.

Kieron moved to Cologne, Germany for almost 3 years playing all the biggest and best Festivals in Europe with his European combo consisting of the cream of dutch Rockabilly Rolf Hartogs and Jan Van Leeuwen and orignal Flatfoot Shakers stand up Bass man Carl Bake. Gigs included The Rockabilly Rave in the UK, High Rockabilly in Spain, A-Bombers in Sweden, Tear It Up in Croatia and many more.

Now back in Australia Kieron has teamed up with Melbourne’s finest Rockabilly musos, Dave “The Kid” Cantrell, Andrew “Pix” Lindsey and “Snappy” Vex to deliver wild Rockabilly/Hillbilly music in the traditional 1950’s style.
